On December 28, 2008, Rashad Evans knocked out Forset Griffin in the third round of their fight at UFC 92. The fight was called at 2:46 left in the third. Rashad Evans stated, "I knew I had him in trouble. He kept smiling, so I didn't know if he was hurt or not. They kept letting me hit him, so I was like, Alright."
